XL (Xavier Lamar Truesdell) was born on Oct. 30th in Chicago Illinois. He grew up in the inner city on the south side of Chicago and was raised by single parents. At a very young age Xavier had a great love for music, art, and dance. He was first introduced to professional modeling and acting during his freshman year of high school. Xavier has been featured in many national campaigns such as Nike, Toyota, KFC, Pepsi, Converse, Adidas, The Oprah Winfrey Network, Rizzoli & Isles and NCIS: Los Angeles. Xavier recently finished filming ‘Vampires and Demons’ an action thriller and is currently recording his first pop/r&b album.
XL’s musical influences include Michael Jackson, Prince, Usher, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder, Musiq Soulchild, Marvin Gay, Ne-yo, Robin Thicke, Boyz II Men, Mario, Tank, Timbaland, Darnell Jones, Jagged Edge, 112, Joe, and R. Kelly. XL’s ‘Dance All Night’ EP, consists of five original songs written by XL and produced by Dem Jointz. Be sure to lookout for XL’s musical debut a High Energy, Dance/Pop/R&B album with catchy lyrics, amazing synths and melodious vocals.
