Kia “Luxurie“McKissack , an up and coming music producer, born in Nashville, TN. At an early Luxurie develop a passion for music whether it was listening to gospel with her Mom or Hip-hop with her brothers. She began taking piano lesson at the age of 6, when it was discovered that she played by ear. When she started high school her step father who is the band director at Pearl-Cohn taught her to extend her ear and read music. After high school, Luxurie began taking classes for medical coding and nursing.  After going to a conference and hearing someone say “If you don’t wake up every day excited about your job, then you’re not going to excel” she realized that medicine was not her passion and music was. Luxurie was introduced to a local producer named 2Gs aka Dwayne Finn and rapper IceMan in 2005. She began working with 2Gs and Los G at their home studio where they showed her ProTools and Fruity Loops.  In 2008 Luxurie realized she wanted to take her music career serious so she enrolled at International Academy of Design and Technology. In spring of 2011, Luxurie teamed up with 100 E.N.T. and got the push she needed to begin making quality music again. Be prepared for heavy 808s and hard baselines in Luxurie’s beats. Never underestimate this woman in heels at the keyboards.
