Anire Okene, better known by his stage name Hýpha°, is a Nigerian eMCee who\'s lyrical skill is beyond measure and recognition. Hýpha° is an Independent artist who\'s passion for music and the freedom of humanity, makes him Unique in Every sense of the word.

EARLY LIFE:

Hýpha° was born in Eku Hospital, Delta State, Nigeria at about 3:10am, 5-minutes later, on the same day his Father was born 51 years earlier on September 27th. He is the last of seven (7) children and was raised by his parents, Late Chief E.H.O Okene and Late Mrs. Mercy Eyewu Okene. He attended Federal Government College, Warri and was later accepted into the Prestigious Benson Idahosa University and Covenant University alike.

Hýpha° lost his mother at the tender age of 12 and his father at the age of 19 to cancer. He began writing poetry soon after his mother died and continued on this path as it seemed the only available way of expressing the pain he had for long buried deep within his soul.

MUSIC CAREER:

With the release of his first ever music compilation which was released online on September 27th 2011 titled ***I DID IT FOR #HIPHOP***, Hýpha° is determined to change the way music is viewed in Nigeria and in Africa. Hýpha° is a conscious rapper who\'s music encapsulates the ideologies of the essence of all human existence and propagates positivity with every rhyme. He is currently working on his 2nd LP entitled MEMOIRS OF A KING and this project far supersedes his first LP. It is set to be released on his birthday, September 27th, 2013.
